We offer our Santos Tour Down Under guests a large range of options to suit their individual travel likes and needs. Our carefully curated Santos Tour Down Under Tours share time on and off the bike together, including Apres ride Aperitifs.
Our Santos Tour Down Under tours suit cyclists, cycling fans, non-cyclist, non-cycling partners ,or people who’d like to do a bit of riding and race watching. We have a dedicated non-cycling guide and vehicle, you’ll have your own itinerary, meet up with partners and the cycling groups at various point each day.
You’ll quickly feel at ease as you enjoy our inclusive, supportive team environment both on and off the bike. Our tour groups are a place where we all share the love and passion for cycling, and for supporting each other while we cheer on the professional Women’s and Men’s races at the Tour Down Under.
We cater for cyclists of all fitness and skill levels, no matter if you are a vastly experienced rouleur, or recently new to cycling, our friendly and very capable staff and cycling guides lead you through Adelaide’s finest cycling routes. You can ride as fast, or as slow, as long or short as you like to cycle each day of your Tour Down Under cycling vacation. We offer a minimum of three supported ride options per day: ie Long, Medium, Short, along with optional extra’s each day if you prefer to go really long each day.
Whilst on tour we offer you the option to improve your general cycling skills including cornering and descending, you’ll build your confidence, safety and efficiency on the bike too. Pat Fitzpatrick co owner of Ride International is also the go to skills coach of many of the professional cyclists racing on the World Tour.
You are in safe hands, we are an internationally experienced team who’ve been operating Tour Down Under tours for many years, plus Ride International Tours owners Pat and Grace Fitzpatrick are with you for the duration of the Santos Tour Down Under. Your Directeur Sportif Pat Fitzpatrick grew up training and racing on the roads and tracks of Adelaide and the picturesque Barossa Valley. Your co Directeur Sportif Grace Fitzpatrick studied Wine Marketing in the Barossa Valley region.
We have two great hotel options to suit your style and budget, a 4-star and 5-star hotel option, plus additional options for room upgrades to suites, penthouses, 2 bedroom family rooms, or similar as required.
At the 5-star Adelaide Hilton, you’ll stay in esteemed company, as the Official Host Hotel, it’s the same hotel as the pro riders, officials, media and cycling legends stay at for the duration of the Santos Tour Down Under. Both of our superb hotels include daily breakfast, and the Adelaide Hilton 5 star hotel has a swimming pool to cool your tired legs at days end.
Both our Santos Tour Down Under hotels are selected as they are premium cycling-friendly accommodation. Each room is spacious to cater for you, your bike and biking kit. We’re centrally located to everything for the Santos Tour Down Under. Daily cycling kit, bike wash and tune-up are included in your tour – daily massage is available upon request.
Each spacious room at our 4 star team hotel includes Kitchen and Laundry, we’re located in the centre of the vibrant South End, a lovely restaurant and residential precinct to explore where you can mingle with locals, sample fine South Australian: wines, beers, ciders, refreshing cool drinks and gourmet food.On the bike, we’ll show you the best small roads in Adelaide – en route each day we intercept the race to cheer on the pro peloton. You can ride as much or a little as you like – our team support vehicles will be there every step of the way. We’ll take in the best scenic roads, viewpoints, pause for the finest coffee, and refreshment stops.
We’ll indulge off the bike at Adelaide’s foodie hotspots, restaurant, bars and cafe’s, personally tested by us. You’ll be close to the City of Adelaide Tour Village and we’ll get you up close to the stars of the show, the Professional riders.

Our Spring Classics tour provides the ideal mix of “ride more – transfer less”.
The proximity of France, Belgium, Netherlands in this border region allows us to participate in the “must do” Tour of Flanders sportif and Paris – Roubaix Challenge. Plus midweek enjoy our “Belgie Training Camp”, it’s the ideal way to ride each day, recover and with plenty of time off the bike each day to explore.
You’ll have your fill of riding, plus we’ll visit the Tour of Flanders Museum, the World War II Memorial at Menin Gate “The Last Post” to honour the fallen British and Commonwealth soldiers.
We’ll see different aspects of the Spring Classics races, including stage starts, midpoints, feed stations, stage finishes, mixed with a cultural, historic, culinary and beverage experience of Belgium, Netherlands and northern France.
April is a beautiful time to visit and ride the Spring Classics. The atmosphere, passion and knowledge of the fans at the races is unrivalled, the Belgium, Netherlands and northern France fans create an electric atmosphere. We’ll show you the smaller roads, ride the iconic Spring Classic climbs, see famous monuments, picture postcard villages, beautiful cities and stay in lovely hotels.
There’s something endearing about riding a bike in Belgium, Netherlands and France, they are countries practically born and raised on two wheels. The terrain is almost purpose-built for cyclists and cycling is still regarded as each nation’s number one sport in Spring.
Each of our Spring Classics Itinerary’s provides a unique experience as the race routes change a little each year, you can count on riding many of the legendary routes made famous by the Spring and Ardennes Classics including: The Koppenberg, Kwaremont, Muur van Geraardsbergen and the Trouée d’Arenberg – Forrest of Arenberg just to name a few.
Our Spring Classics tour is led by our experienced team who’ve been hosting tours to these races for many years, we’ll get you up close and personal with the Pro riders, to experience the excitement of the incredible Spring Classics, the Tour of Flanders and Paris – Roubaix races. We know how to get the best out of your riding, Spring Classics experience, all in a safe, supported, team like environment.
